Once more, with feeling
Once, one of my favouritest films from last year, is being turned into a musical. and i dunno whether to be happy or sad about it. it could go either way. but why mess with a good thing, right? Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová’s surprise indie-rock Oscar win probably had a lot to do with it though. a buncha Tony Award-winning producers have bought the live theater rights to bring the movie to Broadway for the 2010-2011 season. and they’ve already picked their leads. Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick.
everyone loves the “Falling Slowly” scene, so i thought i’d put up another one from the flick that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. this is a perfect date movie, folks. you can’t watch it and not get all mushy and stuff. i think i even felt my eyes water at some point. i think.
